Q: How long will my order take?
A: Each gift is made to order. For our current Artisan Cross necklaces, allow an estimated 5 to 10 business days with standard US shipping, including preparation. We'll send your tracking link when it ships. Timing for other products and destinations can vary; our Shipping Policy has more details.
Q: Does priority shipping speed up production?
A: An expedited shipping option can help your gift reach you sooner after it ships. Each item still needs its usual preparation time. You'll see the available delivery services at checkout.
Q: Can I change or cancel an order?
A: Start a chat with your order number and what you'd like to change as soon as you can. We'll check the order stage and help you understand what's possible. Once production begins, changes or cancellation may no longer be available.
Q: How can I contact you?
A: We're happy to help you choose a gift or check on an order. Open chat to get started, and have your order number handy if you've already placed an order. If chat is unavailable, our Contact Us form and hello@christiangifts305.com are here as a backup.

A: Follow the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email, use Track My Order on our website, or open chat and select Track my order. If you need a hand along the way, we're here to help.
Q: My package says delivered but I cannot find it. What should I do?
A: Please check nearby delivery spots and with anyone who may have accepted your gift. If it still hasn't turned up, chat with us with your order number so we can help you work through the next steps. The carrier may also be able to confirm where it was left.
Q: Why is my tracking not updating?
A: Tracking sometimes takes a day or two to update in the carrier's system after the order ships. If your tracking hasn't updated after more than a week, please reach out and we'll look into it for you.
Choosing the Right Cross Style for Your Gift
Cross jewelry carries deep personal meaning, and the style that feels right varies by the wearer's faith background, visual taste, and personal preference. The quick guide below describes the most common styles so you can feel confident choosing something the recipient will treasure.
Q: What is the difference between a plain cross and a crucifix?
A: A plain or empty cross is a simple four-pointed symbol with no figure on it. It is most commonly associated with Protestant traditions and emphasizes resurrection and new life. A crucifix features the figure of Christ on the cross and is most commonly associated with Catholic, Orthodox, and some Anglican traditions, emphasizing the sacrifice of Christ. Both are expressions of Christian faith — the difference is largely visual and traditional rather than a statement of belief depth. Our current collection features artisan plain cross pendants.
Q: Which cross style should I choose for my recipient?
A: Ask yourself these simple questions:
- Has the recipient mentioned their church or tradition? Catholic and Orthodox recipients often prefer a crucifix; most Protestant recipients are equally comfortable with a plain cross.
- Have you seen jewelry they already wear? The style they currently wear is usually the best guide.
- Is the gift for a milestone occasion (baptism, first communion, confirmation, graduation)? The tradition associated with that milestone often points to a preferred style.
- Are you unsure? A plain artisan cross is a widely appreciated symbol across many Christian traditions and backgrounds — a safe and beautiful choice when preference is unknown.
Quick-reference style guide:
| Style | What it looks like | Often meaningful to |
|---|---|---|
| Plain / Empty Cross | Simple four-pointed cross, no figure | Protestant, Evangelical, non-denominational, and many interdenominational recipients |
| Crucifix | Cross with the figure of Christ | Catholic, Orthodox, some Anglican and Lutheran recipients |
| Celtic Cross | Cross with a circle at the intersection | Recipients with Celtic heritage, Irish Catholic or Protestant backgrounds, or who appreciate heirloom aesthetics |
| Orthodox / Eastern Cross | Three crossbars, often with a diagonal lower bar | Eastern Orthodox and Russian Orthodox recipients |
| Artisan / Decorative Cross | Handcrafted plain cross with unique texture or finish | Anyone who appreciates a distinctive, faith-inspired design — widely welcomed across traditions |

Q: Is a cross gift appropriate for someone from a different Christian tradition than mine?
A: In most cases, yes — a cross is a broadly recognized symbol of Christian faith. A plain artisan cross is generally the most universally welcomed style across traditions. If you know the recipient's preference, honoring it is always a beautiful gesture. When in doubt, the sincerity behind the gift matters most.
Q: I want to give a cross necklace but I'm not sure which product to choose. Can you help?
A: Absolutely. Our Artisan Cross Pendant for Grandsons and Daughter Cross Necklace with Psalm 91:1 are two popular starting points, or browse our full collection by recipient. If you'd like a personal recommendation, chat with us and let us know a little about your recipient.
